I’m Robert Hanley. I’m a Producer/Director/Editor/Entrepreneur and for
my entire life I have been turning my thoughts, passions and desires into my
profession. I started my first business when I was eleven years old and have
been starting and running businesses ever since then. I know how to get
something started and I know how to succeed. I can teach you to start and succeed
as well. As you’ll find out, I have a strong passion for all things video and
for helping people start their own video production companies. I specialize in

Most of our Home Video Studio Owners are in their 40’s, 50’s and 60’s.
That’s the age where you start wondering how
much time is left…? You ask yourself this question: “Am I
going to become more than I am”? That question is asked in many
ways. Some people break away and do something more. Others, sadly in my
opinion, stay at their jobs, keep doing the same old thing and end up retiring
at 65 years of age having never really tested themselves, or achieved their
dreams!
So you’ve got this passion. You’ve got this desire. What do you do?
Take action. You take action. Do
something. No matter what age you are (and yes we sell to people in their 30’s
and 70’s) you’ll never have more energy than you have right now. Most likely,
you’ll never have more money than you have right now. And one more thing,
you’ve got momentum. Even as you are reading this you are making mental
calculations - tallying up your life inventory: energy, money, family, job,
career, status, friends, goals, passions, dreams and goals. You are gauging when
and if you can make a go of it. Can you? If you think you can’t, you are right.
If you think you can, you are right.
Do you have what it
takes?
Should you move forward? You’ve got momentum right now and what you do with
that momentum will determine the rest of your life! Momentum is a powerful
thing. You’ll either take action or do nothing. I would not want to spend my
prime years working for the other guy – working for the man – being just a
number – working for corporate America.
What happens when you
do nothing? You loose energy. You stagnate.
You age! And most likely, you lose the ability to start something new.
You lose the ability to start a Home Video Studio. Part of you continues to
think about starting something but each time that feeling comes around you are
weaker and weaker. The momentum dies out. Eventually you are too old to make a
play. It is a fact of life. It is also really sad. You could change your life
and change your world in doing so.
But you’ve got to
start.
It does take guts to start. It takes courage to start any business. I truly
believe that America is the land of opportunity and that there has never been a
better time to start a business – any business. Home Video Studio is a
GOLDMINE! But you have to have guts. You’ve got to have courage and you will have
to take a risk to achieve your dreams.

Is America the land of
opportunity? Am I right on this? Is running a Home Video Studio a goldmine? Yes
HVS is a goldmine. Yes I am right and yes the American Dream is not dead. You
can do it if you take action and follow my plan. So what holds people back from
moving forward? What is holding you back? Maybe nothing. Maybe something.
Fear is usually the
culprit...
mostly – fear of making a wrong decision – fear of not succeeding – fear of
risking personal pride and certainly fear of financial failure. Fear can be a
powerful game stopper. You get excited about a new opportunity and then you
tell your friends. They tear down your idea. They tell you that you’re crazy to
leave a good job and go out on your own. You’re crazy to come out of
retirement. You’re crazy to follow your dream. Your family can say the same
thing! Your wife or husband can stop you in your tracks with a few choice words.
Fear begins to creep in. DON’T LET THAT
HAPPEN AND DON’T LISTEN TO THEM!
I’m here to tell you that you’re not crazy. You are alive – maybe for
the first time in your life! You want something. You want to achieve. You want
to breathe and you want to come alive. I can help you tune out the negatives,
control the fear and move forward to achieve your dream of studio ownership.

It’s actually a weekend event. We start with dinner (our treat) on Friday
evening. Usually we start at 7:00 pm at a very nice restaurant in Indianapolis.
You will meet my wife Denise and me (of course!) plus other Show ‘N Tell
attendees. This dinner is kind of a break-the-ice/get to know you type of
thing. Plus… you’ll experience one of the great traditions of HVS – Eating! We
always have great eating events at all of our trainings and shows, etc. It’s
good to break bread with new potential owners. The next morning (Saturday) we’ll start early,
usually around 8:00 am and go to 4:00 or 5:00 pm depending on how many people
attend. Space is limited at Show ‘N Tell because we want to spend a lot of
one-on-one time with you.

email: “Oh… I will be in your area in
such and such month… are you having one then”? Or they say the following when
they hear the next date or dates for Show ‘N Tell: “Oh… we have a _______ to
attend and the next weekend after that we are busy too.” Here’s what I say to
this. Just make it happen. The people who succeed in life, make life work for
them. They manipulate the environment to suit them, not the other way around.
So if you want to start your own studio, you’ve got to be pro-active. You’ve
got to start.
Take Action. Look… you have been
thinking about doing something for years and for years. There will always be
weekend events. The people who actually create a business and legacy for their
families make the time to come to Indy. And others… don’t.

A video studio business, and you are trying to SELL it with AUDIO! Hmm. It might be MUCH better to SELL IT with VIDEO.
